Wall Color is not showing the true color

I am changing the wall colors and the colors are not what is showing in the display.  I have used a white wall and it shows as gray. I have tried the colors from the core catalog as well as the manufacturer catalogs and they are not working.  I have also updated my catalogs.   Nothing in the resource guides help as they only show how to add the colors.
