Create Custom Templates

This is an unsupported, but safe method for creating your own custom templates.

 

Set up your defaults in a new template or templates, and use them when starting a new plan.

Very helpful video. Do I have the ability to create that thumbnail in Home Designer Pro?

Yep. File>Save Thumbnail Image

 

Even Suite has this.

Got it. So how do I get it to show up in both Metric and U.S. units? I created one but it only show for U.S. Units when I switch to Metric Units it's not in the list

When you look at the Templates folder, you will see files with a M at the end of the name, like ProfileM.plan.

 

Those are the metric templates.

 

You will need to do the same -- just start with a metric template, and save it with the M.

 

At least I think that should work.
