ChTuna
I'm using HD Pro 2017 on Win 10, 64-bit Using the "Help" menu to access the user guide or the reference manual always takes me to the on-line pdf files, which I have downloaded. Is there a configuration option that maps the help menu selections to the corresponding downloaded files, instead of the on-line files? I've been searching with no success. Obviously, I can read the files well enough with my pdf reader but it would be nice to open the local copy of either document without having to step outside the program. Thanks! - Chuck
katalyst777
Use Help> Launch Help instead. Contents tab has the Reference Manual and User's Guide chapters, or you can use the Index to search by keywords.
ChTuna
Thanks for the reply, katalyst... I do use that option regularly. I just wondered if I was missing something obvious about HD configuration. I expected HD to default to an on-line file only if a local / cached copy of the file was not found in some (possibly configurable) documentation folder. Cheers!
