gu4u22
Hello, I am stuck on this for several days. I'm designing a house on a hillside that is partially supported by a concrete slab and partially supported by posts, jetting out of the hillside (see pictures). I built the slab portion with no problems, but I cannot get the software to build the framing of the floor of the portion that will be supported by the posts. I have already looked at the "Creating a Structure that is Built on Piers" tutorial, but that technique doesn't seem to help a more complex terrain such as the one at hand. Do I need to build the frame manually or is there an easier way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
katalyst777
Yes, create it manually. The pier article is the way to go. Just make the first pier that you copy/paste as tall as needed to reach the terrain, and then you can decrease the bottom height of the others as needed to match your terrain.
