Pony Wall Height

I have 2 pony wall around  shower area, the top part is tempered glass, I am trying to make those 2 walls only lower in height than the actual bathroom wall. In other words I need the top of these to wall to be 24" lower from the ceiling height. How can I accomplish this without changing the height of the entire bathroom wall
