ChiefEric
All I'm trying to build a wall roughly 12' x 19'2" and decorate it with with columns and caps. Its starting to occur to me I might as well draw all of it on paper as either my approach is all wrong or the program is all wrong for this type of thing. I have to use exterior walls rather than landscape walls because I have to put stucco bands, caps, and stone edges on it. ( I would like to point out that leaves undesirable wall construction materials exposed in 3d view.) I am using back splashes to create the stucco bands and inner designs of the signs. I could build the wall faster than I can design this stupid sign. LOL. Anyone have any pro tips on building designed landscape walls.
ChiefEric
Thanks for the reply. I'm using Home Designer Pro 2016. Here's a link to the work in progress. I haven't tried soffits yet... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1xpv0904horl8jf/AABgt809nWPi7GBC8Tm7RWD9a?dl=
solver
I would not bother with walls. Build everything from solids. Once done you can group everything and save it as an Architectural Block to make moving it easier. A custom countertop will accept moldings if needed. solver
Use shapes. Slabs, soffits, shapes from the library -- there are wedges, rounds etc that you can use -- search for "closed".
