WayneAnderson
I can find a regular fireplace but cannot find a gas fireplace to put into a house. Not even in the bonus libraries. The how-to videos do not appear to squarely address the subject. Am I missing something? How do I put the gas fireplace in the living room? [Found http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-00744/ Going to try that approach to do a fireplace for the moment, will see how it works.]
Kbird1
Gas Fireplaces are also called Inserts , if you search Insert in the Library you will find some , if you know the Manufacturer, you may also be lucky and find it on 3D Warehouse and can import the Sketchup Model from there if there is one. https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search.html?q=gas+fireplace+insert&rsi=sbis&backendClass=entity
katalyst777
If you don't want to follow the whole article to manually create a fireplace, in the Library Browser, expand out the Core catalog, then go under "Architectural" and "Fireplaces," or you can also see about finding one in the 3D Warehouse like Kbird suggests.
