  1. Oh, I figured it out the problem with my point #2. Just changing the room type from "Porch" to anything else doesn't change the floor structure, but checking the "Default" checkbox next to Floor Structure after changing room type does reset the floor structure to the default of the new room type. From there, I can make whatever modifications I need to make. I think #1 and #3 are just how the program works, and now that I've unlocked #2 it seems I can work around those oddities.
  2. I have two rooms in my model that are converted porches turned into sunrooms, both on posts with cement footings. When I first drew the floor plan, I set these rooms as type "porch" without really thinking about it. Now that I'm modeling the exterior and the foundation, I don't know what's going on. Bunch of weird things happening: 1) I've got this giant hole in the ground under the rooms and I can't fill it with anything. I tried putting a terrain area full of dirt under there and it just disappears into the void. 2) The floor structure on these rooms is set to 4" and I can't change it. If I change the room to a different room type, it doesn't change the floor structure. 3) Even weirder, if I delete the room(s) entirely and draw a new room anywhere near where the old one was, the new room automatically has the same name and properties as the problem room and I can't change them. If I draw a new room elsewhere in the plan, it works as you'd expect it to. I can change the room type and floor structure back-and-forth all day long. But if I set it to a non-porch and then drag the new walls over to where the sunroom should go ... guess what? ... it changes to a porch and I can't edit it anymore. It's like it remembers what used to be there and just won't let it go. The history of the file may or may not have something to do with this. The plan was originally drawn in HD Architectural 2021. I upgraded to Architectural 2024 before getting to this point. Since then I've decided to take Pro for a test drive for this and other reasons, but I'm having the same issue there. Any suggestions? Thanks!
