Looking for a way to get rid of ghosting at some wall intersections.  Still image below - on screen it flickers.  Tried a number of ways to realign the corner, thinking it is off a bit, but haven't found a solution.  Thanks in advance for any help.  Cheers, Bobimage.thumb.png.a684b78ef2130be40ecfdc8bd2c87446.png

  2. Home Designer Pro 2022.

I made up a new wall type for a net zero wall, main components being a 2"x4" framed wall with 9 1/2" TJ's on the outside.  It worked and displayed fine in a 2 previous plans but now in plan view only the 2'x4" wall is visible.  If I click on it I can see the full 16' thickness.  I have tried turning everything on in "Tools / Display Options" but still nothing changes.  Help appreciated.

    Cheers, Bob

  3. I created a simple plan to create a x-section that illustrates my problem - see below.  Sometimes when I create a cross section some components are coloured in, like the floor and roof trusses in the example shown.  How do I turn this off, or create a x-section that is just the black outline of each component?

    Much appreciated, Bob1065151056_NetZeroxsectionclip.thumb.jpg.359a5d4a836e90e2c657bb7af5aef689.jpg

  4. Thanks Eric.  I went a one of your video's and followed the process, but get the message below when I tried to save it.  Is this no an option with "pro", or did I misunderstand a step?

    Cheers, Bob

  5. I've been working a set of plans for a Net Zero home.  I created a new wall type and saved it.  When I went to start a second Net Zero floorplan my new wall type doesn't show, although it is still there when I go back and open up the first plan.  Is there a way to save it so I don't have to recreate it for every new project?  Cheers, Bob

  6. Fairly new...

I am drawing an addition to an older existing two story house.  Attached is a sketch of the existing ground floor foundation, which has an 8' ceiling and includes bedrooms, bathroom and an office, the main living is upstairs.  I can't figure out how to achieve the attached cross section.  Any help greatly appreciated - I've been pulling my hair out for hours.

    Sincerely, Bob

A forum or Knowledge Base search will locate the info.

Well, it's August 2017 and I have the same problem but don't see an solution.  The instructions in the knowledge base doesn't work for me either.  If anyone found the solution would greatly appreciate it.
