Note that it is a Net Zero wall so what you see ghosting is the extra layer of insulation that is on the exterior of the framed wall....in case that helps.

Home Designer Pro 2022 Looking for a way to get rid of ghosting at some wall intersections. Still image below - on screen it flickers. Tried a number of ways to realign the corner, thinking it is off a bit, but haven't found a solution. Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers, Bob

Below are examples of how plan view used to look, and now. Just realized the standard interior wall is no longer in colour as well. I've toggled colour on and off that isn't the problem. Thanks again, Bob

I meant 16" thickness

Home Designer Pro 2022. I made up a new wall type for a net zero wall, main components being a 2"x4" framed wall with 9 1/2" TJ's on the outside. It worked and displayed fine in a 2 previous plans but now in plan view only the 2'x4" wall is visible. If I click on it I can see the full 16' thickness. I have tried turning everything on in "Tools / Display Options" but still nothing changes. Help appreciated. Cheers, Bob

I created a simple plan to create a x-section that illustrates my problem - see below. Sometimes when I create a cross section some components are coloured in, like the floor and roof trusses in the example shown. How do I turn this off, or create a x-section that is just the black outline of each component? Much appreciated, Bob

I've been working a set of plans for a Net Zero home. I created a new wall type and saved it. When I went to start a second Net Zero floorplan my new wall type doesn't show, although it is still there when I go back and open up the first plan. Is there a way to save it so I don't have to recreate it for every new project? Cheers, Bob

Fairly new... Home Designer Pro 2021 I am drawing an addition to an older existing two story house. Attached is a sketch of the existing ground floor foundation, which has an 8' ceiling and includes bedrooms, bathroom and an office, the main living is upstairs. I can't figure out how to achieve the attached cross section. Any help greatly appreciated - I've been pulling my hair out for hours. Sincerely, Bob

I am fairly new...created stairs and opening but when I am in camera view looking down the stairs I don't see the lower stairs going down, or the lower floor, but instead the outside background. Help appreciated!

Well, it's August 2017 and I have the same problem but don't see an solution. The instructions in the knowledge base doesn't work for me either. If anyone found the solution would greatly appreciate it. Bob
