  1. Yes, I resized the width and depth of the casing and lintel and used the material dropper. Doesn't look right though, especially the top on a round arch window and door. Can I draw something and place it there with polylines? 3. Just like the picture, curved and copper. I'm sure I can manage the copper part with the material dropper, but how do I make the roof....Not positive about how the copper with come out either. though..I can't seem to make my stainless steel appliances look anywhere near right.... Thanks
  2. Hey guys, a few questions... 1. How do I add a solid stone sill to the exterior windows...like one solid piece of granite? See photo 2. Also, can I shape stone or brick to make the look I want for side and head casing on my doors and windows? Polylines don't seem to work on 3d view on this like some things. 3. How to add copper french roof over box window or other protruding first floor wall sections? See photo Thanks for any help!
  3. Hey guys, first, thank you for all the help. My plan is moving along nicely and I appreciate all the assistance. Can I reshape Library Items? I have an Hexagon sitting area in my Bedroom and I picked a Cushion from the library. I can only change the size but the shape stays the same. I need to alter the shape from a square/rectangle to a 5 sided cushion and/or trapazoid. Is this possible or what else should I do? Thanks.
  4. Ok, great, that worked. Created a new wall type from scratch and used that wall type on that wall. Thanks!! Any ideas on going up to the peak on the inside.. Also on deleting the trim boards just on that one wall?
  5. I have been defining a new wall type. I bring up the wall type setting for that one wall, make my changes and rename the wall type to brick/brick. Maybe I need to start from scratch and not start with the brick 6 wall...although when I click on that wall it is brick 6 when I start because it is an existing wall. I will go in and create a whole new wall type before ever clicking on the wall. I think that's what you mean....brb
  6. Ok, I'll try that. Thank you guys. The plan is really coming along...
  7. I am trying to add brick/stone to the inside of an Exterior wall...only ONE wall. No matter what I do, ALL the exterior walls end up having brick on the interior wall. I am NOT changing the default exterior walls. I am clicking on only the wall I want to change, but ALL walls are changing. Help!! 2nd: Same wall....This wall is two stories in an open room and will have a vaulted ceiling above....What is the best way to cover that entire wall with brick/stone? Modify both floors separately or can I do it somewhere all at once? Thanks for any help..
  8. No matter what I do to the terrain. The cu volume always is Zero.
  9. After I am done leveling around my house. I need to remove dirt here and there and add dirt to the lower sections. Does Pro tell me anywhere how much dirt I will have to import or export for my project? Thanks

    Step Foundation

How do you have or make a house foundation or stand alone garage with a stem wall follow the terrain how I want. My lot is sloped and I want as little or no foundation showing. I built a Garage (1st floor) with brick walls and framing. It has a stem wall. The terrain is 3/4 of the way up the first floor wall in the back and slopes down toward the front on the sides. I need to raise the concrete wall up to just above grade on the back and sides and use the framing and brick the rest of the way. Yes, I want the building built into the hill. I need to control where the framing/brick is and solid foundation is exactly. Thanks for any help.
  12. Ok, thank you, I will try that. Haven't been able to select all terrain lines to move all terrain at once, but I'll keep trying.
  13. Hi, I am getting fairly competent with the program, but have a long way to go....(HD Pro) I have a complex terrain plan finished and I'm trying to see where on my land I want to build my house. It is somewhat steep. Q: Can I build it and then select the entire house and move it around to see where it looks and works out the best? ...or should I build the entire house on a separate flat, blank plan page and copy and paste the full structure over? I guess another related question would be how rotate it just slightly as well. Thanks for any help. I appreciate it. I'll post some pics as it goes along. Schluersburg Plan Working Backup.plan
