  1. I haven't put it in yet, as the ceiling has a different shape from the roof. The ceiling is gambrel while the roof is gable. If I put the roof on first, should that solve the issue?
  2. Hello Everyone - Thank you so much in advance for any help you can offer. Admittedly, I am a novice with Home Designer Pro, so I apologize if there is an easy solution to this. I'm usually pretty good at troubleshooting, but can't, for the life of me, figure out this seemingly simple fix. I'm currently mocking up the house my wife and I just bought so that we can plan any renovations and design choices we decide to make. In recreating the gambrel style ceiling in the living room, I've noticed that it seems to be interacting poorly with the stairwell that leads down to the bottom floor. Namely, for some reason, the ceiling stops at the stairwell, leaving a wide open space above, and none of the stairwell settings I toy with seem to enable it to share friendly space with my ceiling (SEE EXAMPLE 1). I suspect it has something to do with the height of the railings (SEE EXAMPLE 2) but I can't seem to figure out a way to adjust that either. Quite the lose-lose day for me! If anyone can offer any insight into the situation, I'd very much appreciate it. I can also upload my file if needed for further research - just don't judge too harshly as this is NOT meant to be a construction document, and is for interior reference only. Thank you again, everyone! John HOME DESIGNER PRO 22 (23.4.1.8x64)
  3. Good Evening, everyone! I was hoping there might be a way to rotate a 360 Backdrop within a given camera view. I went to my lot and took a 360 picture of it, with the North side facing front and center (as the house faces north front and center as well) but when I import the panorama, it places the East side of the image in the center. I've uploaded the image for your reference. The tree/lake/mountain view should be center (and is due north, as my house faces in my file) but instead, I'm seeing the far right side of that image dead center. So really, I just need to know if there is a way to rotate the 360 backdrop to line up properly. I'm not seeing anything when I "Open Object" to help. Thank you all very much! John
  4. Thank you for the advice - my signature has been updated to reflect "Home Designer Pro 2022"
  5. Thank you in advance for any help someone can provide! I'm on HOME DESIGNER PRO. Disclaimer: I DID see this topic mentioned in a post from 2012, and there was no workaround, but I am hoping one has been implemented since then. I am currently attempting to apply a different color/texture to the exterior of my window casings, but no matter what I do, the interior ones change with it. I can't readily find an option to unlink these, or manually set these options separately, so I'm wondering if I'm missing out on how to do this? Is it the case that it's still not possible to have differing interior/exterior window casings? Thank you all again for your help! John
