  1. Hello @DesignerRyan Creating new layers is a feature available in our flagship program Chief Architect Premier. Also in Chief Architect Premier you have the ability to Reference plans. This allows you to overlay your as-built plan under the new plan to see where changes occur in both 2D and 3D. This video demonstrates Referencing as well as some other remodeling features.   2. Instead of using a molding, I'd recommend using the custom backsplash tool or a wall covering in the individual wall’s specification to achieve your desired result. or
  3. The sill plate controls are found within the Foundation Wall Defaults. Here is one way you can access this. You might need to rebuild your framing after adjusting this. The wall framing controls in the wall types dialog are different. If this isn't quite what you were looking for, you may try posting the plan.
