Hi everyone, I'm hoping for some help please on a couple of issues I am having. First issue is the front of the house. I cant seem to understand why the roof is spilt up the top? I just want a simple gable roof coming out over the porch area. I have tried to fix this issue and searched the forums, but have not had any luck. My second issue is, for some reason the guttering on the hall way links has gone missing. ( This house has very minimal eaves.) Third issue, is the framing poking out through the roof on certain areas. Once again I have searched and tried everything suggested in my previous post (which I did delete as I had posted in the wrong forum.) I'm only a beginner user of the program, so I would greatly appreciate if anyone could please point me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance Andrea QUINN1.plan

I'm sorry, here it is. I seem to have another issue in the corner of the exterior wall connecting the front deck and side deck. While I am at it, can I please ask how I would put a flat roof over the two long narrow decks? The roof I have on is exactly what I am after, but if I try to manually place a flat roof on the long verandas I have all sorts of issues with the ceiling lining up etc. I think I need to create a gull wing style roof but I get so lost trying to figure it out. Hi everyone, I'm hoping for some help please on a couple of issues I am having. First issue is my windows. For some reason the windows don't seem to join up with each other properly. As you can see in the picture, there are white lines in between the windows. The second issue is the wall you can see in the second picture. Eric, I am a bit embarrassed as there are so many mistakes in the plan that I cant figure out!! Lucky I'm not building the place only doing 3D visualization for a friend. I've only been using the program for a few months so I know I have a huge amount to learn!! Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated !!

Hello! After spending a week trying to figure this out, I thought I would ask for some help please. I would like to put room divider to define my hall as it has a different floor and ceiling finish to the connecting room. No matter what I try it will not connect from the corner of the wall to the other corner. If I bring it forward (even just a touch) into the hall, it works fine, but then of course my floor and ceiling finish creep into the hall as opposed to being flush with the connecting room. I have searched and searched, tried to change layers etc etc. I would be so grateful if someone could please point me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance! Andrea

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone could please help me with this issue. I have a home I am drawing that has a large family room that has a vaulted ceiling. The house is a pavilion style with a hallway joining another room. The hall has a flat ceiling. My question is why am I getting this detail on the ceiling? I have defined the rooms etc. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can please help me!!!! Many many thanks in advance!

David, you are amazing!!! Thank you so much for helping me fix all those weird mistakes! The roof is almost perfect. Attached is the builders plan. As you can see, the veranda and deck have a flat piece as part of the roof... the roof extends to this point and then flattens out around the veranda. Thank you so much for putting the time into that video!!

Hi there, I’m using home designer pro 2021. Could someone please help me build this roof? When I use build roof tool, the roof comes out almost spot on, except for the outdoor entertainment area, and the two narrow patios. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Many thanks in advance.
