  1. I was given a 2008 version of Home Designer,  version 8.4.0 which I just recently installed.  I have drawn up a house plan, which, at the moment consists of the rooms of a house and now have decided that I want to mirror or reverse the floor plan. Under TOOLS there is a feature to REVERSE PLAN however it does it about the vertical axis and I want to mirror it about the horizontal axis.  I could use the vertical axis feature if I could then rotate it CCW 90 deg but don't see this feature also.  Is there any way to accomplish this?

    Thanks

      David,

I changed the footprint of the first floor and now I realize the basement doesn't change with it.  I looked under build-floor but don't see anything about modifying foundations.  I can delete it and start over but then I would lose the rooms I have added to it.  Any way of avoiding this?

On another matter which I don't need to do right now but would like to know if it can be done.  I wanted to increase the width of the living room by increasing the footprint of the house.  I tried to move the upper outside wall outward and it changes the kitchen area.  I assume I would have to reconfigure the kitchen back to what it was by moving the living room walls and anything else that was affected by the stretch?

Take a look at "Build - Foundation - Rebuild Foundation" or you can just redraw the foundation manually, one wall at a time.

      Yes, that is correct
