I can not seem to get the auto roof return on the right side of this plan to work. {HD 2017 software} I have tried mimicking the settings of the left side to no avail. Any thoughts as to why or another solution to get it back? TIA Smaller_House_Flipped_Garage_djp1.plan03032017_testing_terrain.plan

I understand what your saying, however I have very little experience with the software, so that is a stumbling block for me. As far as I know the roof is the same ptich all the way across. I'm not able to drag it into place & place it with the keys.

Thanks, I will check the drawing. Perhaps it is causing me an issue. I will try it again. It just stopped dead in it's tracks before. It even started peeling of the siding when I was pushing it over.

I can't get the right dormer to slide anymore to the left. i'm not exactly sure why. I'm under the assumption the roof height is not changing when I slide it side to side. My end goad is to see how it looks with them equal distance from the edge of each roof. This is a work in progress... Thanks for looking at it. Smaller House Flipped Garage.djp1.plan

Update: I tried a couple other plans and had no issues. I figured out that it was a dormer causing the issue. When I slid the garage walls back & left the dormer where it had been it just made it crash. Once I deleted the dormer it worked again.

H'mm I'm pretty sure I used two different plans, but when I get back I will try another. I only have a couple test plans. Brand new to the CA world. Thanks DJP

Each time I go to get a 3D overview the program is crashing. I have not had an issue before this, it all worked just fine. I have updated the driver, {it was working fine when I first started using the program within the past week.} I have followed the advice in the help section of the various things to turn off in rendering. The "framing view" worked, the doll house & other looks caused it to crash. Computer has anti virus scans every day, I also ran scan disk & fragmented. {It is set to do every day automatically} Anybody have any other tips? I'm hoping to get it resolved ASAP. TIA

I am importing the core content, it is a slow going event. I'm pretty sure thats why I could not find them.

I have a plan that has no roof plane on it. When I go to build a roof, it is putting the roof soffit edge on the inside all the way around & it seems to change one wall inside out. I have checked all the walls, they seem to be facing the right way before i build a roof. Thoughts? HD Professional 2017

This sounds like what I am attempting to do. I am just learning to use the software. I am trying to get a bonus area over a couple rooms.

When trying to get a 48 w x 32 deep deep basic wall outline done the program keeps changing the other two walls when I get the two side walls set at 32 ft. First time user, just not sure why it does that. Using Home Pro 2017 version Thanks
