Design-Builder Posted yesterday at 08:56 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:56 PM I'm importing terrain data as a .txt file and it doesn't seem to load properly into the plan. No data points are visible and when I expand to full screen it just pans out and nothing is shown in the plan or 3D views. I've tried data points for a small site to make sure that's not the issue. I've replicated what is in the tutorial videos and can make it work, but not with my data points (ie. x,y,z coordinates 678898.9631,647827.3567,3). Has anyone else been having the same problem? Design-Builder
Thanks for the quick response! Am using Home Designer Pro 2025. A combination of playing with it and watching your video solved the problem. Ultimately, I think the info was there, I just needed to pan out more to see it in the perspective view. Also, I realized that I needed the elevations to be closer than zero (as opposed to actual elevations starting at 1800 ft. Finally, converting the cartesian coordinates closer to a starting point of zero keeps the terrain perimeter from being too far in outer space. I had tried different combinations of changing these things but doing them all plus panning out helped me find the terrain.
