Can't figure out how to configure roof

I'm new to home designing and to this software and I'm starting to get a hang on some things but I'm having a really hard time getting this roof to work. It's a pretty simple roof but it keeps giving me odd lines because of the porch I think. The two roof planes on the parallel walls on the porch are the source of my problem I believe but don't know how to fix it. I attached the roof plan of how I want it to look and the plan I've made in home designer. Can somebody help me out?
