Changing plan view wall color to suit extension to highlight

I need to add an extended wall section to an existing floor plan drawn in black.

I need to change the color of only the extended part of the build.

My problem is that all the existing walls in drawing are changed to the new color I need to highlight the extension with.

Can somebody give me a clue with the tools to use in order.

I am using Architectural Home designer 2017
