Creating a second floor over a portion of the existing first floor.

Hi Everyone,

 

I just bought the software an hour ago and I have the first floor complete.  I want to create a second floor with roof just over a portion of the existing first floor structure.  All I can seem to do create a second floor over the entire flrst level.  The issue really falls with the fact I need two separate roofs.  I am very new to this so sorry for the fundamental questions.
