Thanks and yes it was dwg to dxf and I figured it out by downloading TrueView Drawing Interchange . Now that I imported the files into the program I need to figure out what to do with them to get started.

My architect sent me a dwg.file and Home Designer Pro only imports dwf.files. Does anyone know how I can convert the dwg.file to dwf.file so I can import it into the software program? Thanks, NBH
