I'm trying to make sloped soffit above cabinets.. the bottom of the soffit would be level, horizontal...but the top of the soffit would be sloped with ceiling. I cant figure it out. Either soffits are level horizontal ....or if i choose "sloped" ..it makes the bottom and the top of the soffit sloped. thx in advance.

Can anyone tell me how I would make knee bracing for support on deck support posts. This is required by code, so I'd like to put it in the model.
