  1. The pony wall worked when I set the lower portion to the full height of the wall. Thanks.
  2. Hi David, Thank you so much for taking the time to do the YouTube video. I learned a ton from watching you. I think I now have the knowledge to make this work. Thanks again!
  3. That looks pretty good, with the exception of the lack of runner on the landings; at least it is structurally closer to the actual house. I will try it with my model. Thanks for the help!! Also, I submitted my issue to tech support yesterday (before your response). I will re-post if they come up with a different solution that is better.
  4. Attached are several photos of the actual house and I have reloaded the model as well. Thanks for your help. Stair Trouble 10APR16 v1.plan
  5. Home Designer Pro 2017. I uploaded the plan file.
  6. I am trying to create a stairwell that has a 90 degree turn. I figured out how to use the winders (and this is almost working right - for some reason the corner is not filling), but my bigger issue is what is happening to the wall next to the top half of the stairs. If I draw the wall that is supposed to go around the stairs, it initially looks fine, but then when I refresh things, it cuts the top of the wall off at an angle that follows the line of the stairs. I have erased and redrawn the wall several times and it keeps happening. Is there a way to prevent this? Also, is there a way to have different handrail sections at each run of the stairs (i.e., one with balusters for the lower part with no wall and one without balusters attached to the wall that keeps disappearing).
