Home Designer Pro users. My custom backsplash is grayed out and not accessible. Does anyone know a quick fix.

Does anyone know how to figure complete square footage of a slab? I've tried just turning on "include in total living space" on every room (including garage and porches), but it still seems to not include the area under the walls. Any help is greatly appreciated. Sherry
