  1. I think I'm going to pull the trigger and just get the yearly subscription plan. I will share my plans with everybody openly as I build and let the cards fall. Thumbs up.
  2. I get it. I actually learned AutoCAD back in the day and used it for 3D modeling Gazebos and Sheds. The business that I worked for went out of business and I then became a truck driver. I miss it. I was a designer and a hands on builder. So here I am 20 years later and just asking the question that started this thread. I'm just looking for some honest helpful friendly advice.
  3. "I am actually thinking about hanging up design work and doing wood work in my garage shop? " I want to design myself and need help and advice as stated.
  4. I'm in the initial conceptual idea phase. I may have a Modular company build it but I may not and stick to a traditional build. I am designing it myself but at some point will have to turn over my designs to others even though I will build some parts myself.
  5. Full Basement under #1 & #2. Modular Construction. Can I design this with Home Designer Pro 2027? Almost ready to buy the annual subscription but I am still on the fence. Each unit will be 36' x 36'. Each unit will consist off 2 - 14' x 36' modular units running north to south and connected by 8' walls to complete the 6 - 36' x 36' squares. The total 2 story building envelope will be 36' x 108'. I need help. Can I model all the horizontal and vertical modular connections? All ideas will be greatly appreciated. Should I subscribe to the Home Designer Pro software and start this design project? I used to use AutoCAD 15 years ago and did a lot of 3D work with it but have not really used it since.
