  2. Thank you so much for reading and replying. I did find these roof styles in the software application. But that roof is single pitched. A double pitched hip roof is similar to the hip roof shown, but the eaves are flared at a different slope (similar to the gull wing roof style, but the flared eave extends around all sides...with no gables). I was wondering if that kind of roof could be auto generated.
  3. I just downloaded Home Designer Pro 2016 today (trial version) so I am clueless ... but can someone point me in the right direction? I want to have double pitched hip roof, with 6:12 on the main roof and 4:12 at the eaves, with the roof planes joining along a line inboard of the exterior wall. These are fairly common where I live, but don't see then in the roof type selection. Can this be generated automatically, or do I need to build the roof planes manually? Phil
