Are there any ways to attach door to exposed ends on cabinets from the standard cabinet catalogs or in an upgraded one? Thanks, Keith

When using a stem wall foundation, does multiple floor levels like this cause the top surface of the footings to be raised or lowered in relation to the floor rather than keeping them constant throughout & adjusting the number of courses in the stem wall to raise or lower the slab? If so is there a way to force it to do that?

Thanks y-g-m-n, This worked far better than anything else I've tried, with a stem-wall. Had to do some fine tuning of room dividers & even re draw some walls a different way to work better with the dividers. I'm just a week into using this software & have not figured many of the concepts. The only issue that still remains unsolved now is a bit of the stem-wall is showing on the interior sides of some walls but I changed the material to the interior wall color or the floor color if it is showing on a step down but the face of the stem wall is set back from the face of the finished wall. Might try mono slab but this is going to be a stem-wall foundation so need it to reflect that. Thanks again for the help.

I have a plan that has an entry that is technically @ +6", main floor is @ 0", then (2) rooms at -6", followed by a Living room @ -12". I tried using the main floor at 0" and bumped each room either up or down as needed but this resulted in the stemwall foundation being sticking out into the room in the -12" room. So I designated the the Entry as 0" and bumped every room in the house down -6", then took an extra 6" from the other rooms that went down to lower levels & rebuilt the foundation. Everything looks fine as far as levels go but the stemwall concrete finish is now in the room at the lower floor levels. Is there aa more effective way to get the multi level floor working as it should? Thanks, Keith ps. havent even started to figure how to add the missing 6" step down

Even when it just shows up as a single line it causes the stud at the end of the wall framing to recess back by 1 1/2" and the molding follows that face across the end of the wall instead of the face of the drywall. The base does wrap the end but it is buried behind the drywall. Since the drywall wraps the wall where it should be I'm not sure why the base doesn't. It must be a glitch they need to fix in a future release. Is there a reporting mechanism for bugs that users want fixed?

Thanks other Keith! That was right on both counts. So you have to place a cabinet in the kitchen & basically replace it with a DW? Weird, but ok. On the room dividers, that is causing the problem & I can't figure out a way to define the kitchen room without using that wall as a border. Will just have to remove it when I want to do 3D views. Thanks.

Hi All, I'm in Home Designer Pro 2025 (v. 26.3.0.10/Windows 10), I have a peninsula Straight Half-Wall in this kitchen supporting a flow over counter top that base mold is not wrapping around at the end but at the stud that appears to be set in 1 1/2" from the end. I have tried starting the wall at the left peninsula end and ending it at the full height wall right (as seen in the floor plan below) & vice versa, with no difference. Once the wall is connected to the end of the tall wall to the right the framing recesses that stud in on the end. The Anyone know what I'm doing wrong with the framing/studs here? Also having issue with dishwashers being recessed in rendered view as if the front corner is locking into the location where the plan shows the rear corner to be. Not sure if this is because of the wall issue or not. Thanks, Keith

@y-g-m-n, Thanks for the reply, I came to this conclusion myself after pulling out what's left of my hair trying to do it structurally correct.

Hello Everyone, I'm brand new to this software & am still finding my way through. I'm in Home Designer Pro 2025 (v. 26.3.0.10/Windows 10) & I'm working on a condo remodel in a multi story building that has a small closet for the air handler that needs to sit atop a 4" wood framed shelf, open below & finishes @ 18" above the floor. Can someone explain a good way to do this that doesn't interfere with the other framing structure around it? All walls surrounding this closet are 96" plate height, standard 3 1/2" studs with 1/2" wallboard on both sides. Thanks in advance for any advice. Keith
