  1. I have a plot with 5 different Retaining Wall heights. 24", 32", 36", 42", & 48" All walls use 6" CMU Nominal 6 x 8 x 16, Actual 5 5/8 x 7 5/8 x 15 5/8, with 3/8" mortor When I draw the walls (Terrain, Terrain Wall & Curb, Straight Retraining Wall) it defaults to default ceiling height of 109 1/8" My lot is a max elevation differance of about 18" And what if the elevation differance was 0"? No elevations have been set. How do I control the height on all of these walls? When entering th sizes of the CMU do you enter the Actual or Nominal Dimensions? When calculating matterial will it does not include the mortar joint. How to make this appear? Why does foam sill seal and foundation bolts show up on the components list? I found the location to to edit the block size and mortar with under wall types, plan material. I appears that the sizes of the blocks do not corrspond with the standard naming pattern of CMU's which is D x H x L, (5 5/8" x 7 5/8 " x 15 5/8") In components if lists it as H x L x D, (7 5/8" x 15 5/8 " x 5 5/8") I this correct? I attaching 1 section of my yard as an example. Back 40 Yard.plan
  2. I change it to 1/4" still the same, appears to just happen when buliding a wall at an angle to the 1st wall and it changes the dimensions of the 1st wall 'cause I can't get that much accuracy when aligning 2 angled walls so it makes the 1st wall either smaller or larger. Is there any way to lock or fix the length of 1st wall so it want be resized? I read the dimension section, wall section I not seeing anything abt locking wall length.
  3. Yep did all of the below just thought it was an unusual default ceiling height for most of the buildings. couldn't find anything about the below. So what is a normal room under room defaults? Normal room values don't change except ceiling structure & finish and floor foundation and floor finish. The basic room height remains around 9'.
  4. Home Designer Pro 2015, Build 16.3.0.59, 64bit On Edit, Default Settings, Floor the default finished ceiling height is 107 5/8" or 8' 11 /58" with 7/8" floor finish & 5/8" Most have a finished ceiling height 8' 5/8" or 1/2". Also if you change this values they will change in the Default Settings, Rooms, all rooms but Normal room which the only values that change are ceiling structure & finish and floor foundation and floor finish. The rest is greyed out. With the heights remaining basicly default what is a normal room? And when would these values be changed?
  5. Home Designer Pro 2015, Build 16.3.0.59, 64bit When checking the displayed wall length, I press the wall and 5' appear, but when I press the 5' to edit the length this value appears 4' 11.9903699002" I realize it is close to 5' but these discrepency tend to multiply themselves
