  1. Thank you @solver. I have home designer pro 2024 subscription service. I basically laid out the existing home with the exception of the crawl space. i figured how to do the floor joist and the stem walls. I need to create footings for the longer runs of the joist. Although, I don’t think I need the detail since I most like won’t be changing a lot from a structural standpoint but it is a good to know. i may open up a load bearing wall (about 12 feet) for an open concept. I may need to add two footings on each end and beef up the ceiling joist. i would like draw it for the sake of learning. I will have structural engineer make / create the details but at the minimal have him review and make recommendations. if you have examples that I can look at that would be awesome. I suspect it isn’t easy to do without chief architect. I’m not a pro and won’t want to pay the premium since I’m not doing this as a living. So, i appreciate any advice you can offer up. thanks, Ben
  2. Did you ever figure this out? I’m looking to do the same
  3. Hi, new user here. I have home designer pro. I pretty much measured my house for a remodel. I’m having some issue creating the crawl space, floor joist and footings. I have the stem wall, was able to build the floor and show the floor joist, created the terrain and it shows dirt. But can’t seem to get the footings to show. is there something that automatically places the footings? I might open up a load bearing wall and want to add a footing or two. Other than that i am not changing much from a structural standpoint. Is there any tutorials to doing this. After I’m done, I’d send it out for structural engineer to review.
