Braburk

Hi everyone, Very new to Home Designer. So far, so good. One issue is confusing me. Have a porch covered by roof extended from gable wall of the house. The default showed no support for the roof so I drew in posts and beams. Beams show in Framing view and floor plan view but not in orthographic. I thought maybe it was a layer issue, but when I go Open Object/ Line Style, there is no option to select a layer. Would be happy for any help, Thanks,
