  1. Hi David. The solution was in Print>Drawing Sheet Setup>Drawing Sheet in View. I also checked out your solution, and I think that would have worked too. Your help was much appreciated. Bob
  2. This is related to a previous post about the floor plan background turning grey. After updating to Home Designer 2024, I reopened the file and discover the problem: the floor plan is not centered on the paper in plan view. I'm trying to paste a screen shot of the issue to this post, but the system is reporting an error in uploading files. I used the 'select all' technique of drawing a marquee around the floor plan while holding down the Shift key. A handle appears in middle of the paper, but not in the floor plan. Moving the handle moves the plan and the paper simultaneously, without changing the position of the plan on the paper. How do I get the floor plan centered on the paper? floor plan not centered on the paper.docx
  3. preferences / appearance / color / background didn't work The error message appeared while I was hitting the "undo/go back" button on some changes I made.
  4. Good morning! I've used Chief Architect and Home Designer (Broderbund Software) off and on since the 2000's. Lately, I've had several software errors in Home Designer Suite 2021. Latest glitch is that the background in floor plan has gone grey, obscuring a lot of detail. I can't find a toggle that gets me back to a white background. I'll include a screen shot in another post. Has anyone seen this error, or is there a function or toggle to remove the grey background in floor plan view? Thanks for your help.
