Never mind, I got it to work. Believe it or not, I turned on the "Auto roof" and it did it(?) Thanks for your help. It is greatly appreciated!

Thanks David! This is great but unfortunately it doesn't fully solve the problem. If you look at the photos you' can see that in the roof section on the right (looking at front of house), the gable runs fully front to back (see in back of house pic). The gable roof on the left (running left to right) ties into the center of the gable roof section on the right. I can't seem to make that work. The roof will not generate a gable for that section even though I have selected gable on the front and back walls(?).

Is there a way to create two Gable roofs intersecting at 90 degrees in Home Designer Suite? One full gable north to south, one full gable east to west. I just want to recreate the same roof as in the attached pics (front & back). FYI HD Suite does not have the Gable roof line tool. This seems like it should be a simple task but I cannot get it accomplished. Clearly it's possible in the real world. What am I missing??

Hi, can anyone recommend a catalog that has an assortment of cedar shake siding? Looking for weathered (grey or brown) similar to the attached pics. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!
