Since your question is not very specific, adjusting roof plane usually involves changing it’s shape, cutting openings or changing pitch. All kinds of tools is available in HD Pro 2023 for whatever you want to accomplish.

Click on Default Setting icon -Plan-Edit. Under Living area check box "Show Living Area Label"

Trial version doesn't disable older version of the program and you will be able to save your work.

David, thank you for your response. Have no problem with creating A-frame itself, but was struggling with creating two story dormers. Fortunately was able to find solution by creating dormers manually instead of using automated solution provided by Home Designer Pro 2022. Thank you again Greg.

Hello. This is my first question on this forum. Fairly new to Home Designer Pro. Trying to draw as-build of a A-frame house with dormers and balcony on one side. My question is hot to draw properly first floor dormer (vertical wall ?) two story dormer (vertical wall ?) next to it and balcony on the same side of the house ? Thank You
