Thanks for the reply I will look at Architectural I am trying to learn Pro through the trial version hopfuly enough that I could rent it for a month and do what i want to do. also is there any way to reply to someone so they would sure to see it that has made a reply on your post without making a whole new post

Please forgive me for not having paced signature as of yet. I have had HDsuite for 10 days and I am proably averging 10 to 12 Hr's a day trying to learn the program it seems to have a very high learning curve . My frustration level is getting quite high. I had to buy a new computer just to run the program for probaly a one time use for an addition on my house. I really haven't had time to learn all of the idiosyncrasies of the Forum as of yet !

ok I was having so many problems trying to do things in HD suite So I down loaded a trial version of HD Pro. On the attached jpeg I have a12-12 on the main roof pitch. On the small room on the left I would like to put a 4-12 pitch hip roof. The room on the right would like to have a 3-12 shed roof. If I set the roof on left to 4-12 the main roof changes to 4/12 also no matter what i do

I'm trying to do a gambrel roof on a two story with an 8' second floor in HD Suite. I don't care what I do I can't an upper pitch of 6-12 my lower pitch is 20-12 and it goes to a 20-12all the way to the top. I down loaded trial HD pro same thing also I guess you can't do a gambrel.. s4.plan
