I have found that if I export a PDF from a layout instead of a plan it is fine. Not always ideal, but a decent work around.

Hi, When I export a PDF it now has thick blurry lines compared to the nice clear versions that I used to get and I can't find a setting that might have changed this. I am attaching an old PDF that looks great and a new version of the same plan. Thanks for your help. Ambiel As-Built pdf 2.pdf Ambiel As-Built pdf.pdf

Hi, I think that I am having the same problem. What do you mean by "weights toggled on"? I'm not finding that. I have two versions below. One is an old one that looks fine and the other is what I am getting now. Thanks for your help. Mike Ambiel As-Built Plan 7-8.pdf Ambiel As-Built pdf 2.pdf

Hi, I am trying to build some deck stairs that are wider at the bottom and narrower at the top. Basically an inverted V shape. I have tried the flare/curve stairs tool but that only seems to affect the bottom two steps and I want a straight taper from the top to the bottom. Is there a way to do this? Thanks for your help.

Thanks, I will. I've tried closing, restarting etc. and it persists. At least I don't feel so dumb now... I kept thinking that I must just be overlooking a button somewhere.

Ok, after at least an hour of searching in the menus, searching in the help topics, and watching training videos, I give up. Somehow, the floor plan that I am working on changed to a framing plan. How do I go back to the basic floorplan view? When I open the layer options it says, "properties for Framing Layer Set." I know that I can go through and manually change what is and isn't displayed but I didn't do that to end up here and it seems that if this is the framing layer then there must still be a floorplan layer somewhere that for the life of me I can't find. I am importing a DWG file for complete page of plan notes and when I do it opens up looking like this, Is there a way to correct this so that it is formatted correctly on the page or do I need to go through and correct each text box and image individually? I know that the engineer that is sending it to me is using an older version of Auto Cad. Thanks for your help.

I just upgraded to Pro 2023 and now can have up to five layout pages. Page 0 sets the template for the subsequent pages. When I open up an existing layout it opens as page 1 with the text boxes for project, owner, page number, etc. Is there a way to transfer all of this to page 0 without cutting and pasting each individual item? Even better, can I edit the page 0 template so that each time I create a new layout it will already have this information entered as the default? Thanks

Thank you! That worked. Not sure what the cause was but just relieved to be back to normal. Thanks for your help.

Yes, I have a layout page that is created from a plan. In layout Window>Fill Window Building Only isn't an option. I've attached the file. Thanks Lenz Keystone Existing.layout

Hi, Using Home Designer Pro 2022. It only happens in this one layout plan, everything else is fine. When I open it, it is literally a dot on the page. The only way that I can find it is to search for text on the page. I then zoom and zoom and zoom until it is a reasonable size. If I then try to use the scroll bars at all, it apparently scrolls drastically, to the point where the plan seems to have disappeared and I can't even find it without again doing a text search. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
