    deleting a roof?

    I'm new to Home Designer - Architectural product. I was given a file from my architect and wanted to make some modifications on my own. I cannot seem to fully delete the structure on the right. I was able to remove the walls on the structure but can't seem to eliminate the roof. See snapshots. Any suggestions?
