I use 2018. I have 8"x8" posts in a rectangular configuration supporting a roof. I want to add angled bracing to the posts at the beam line. It is a common construction detail and seems it should be easy. However, I have tried all types of beams and none can be rotated to a 45 degree angle. There is an angle function but it only moves the beam in a horizontal direction and not vertical. Is it possible to do this? Thanks, Ron

I have placed 12'x12" posts on a slab for roof support. The posts show in plan, ortho & perspective views. The post do not show in elevation or section views. I have checked all layers and they are on. I am unable to load the floor plan drawing. HELP thx Ron
