Room Divider Wall works! Thanks, Solver. BTW, I did search for "Room Definition" and despite digging through a few linked pages, couldn't find anything useful. Just so you don't think I was slacking off.

So I think I may have figured it out. There isn't a 4th wall, so the room is open. As a test I drew a quick wall across the bottom to enclose it, and the floor then showed up just fine in the 3D. I sometimes leave a room open if it is adjacent another room without a separating wall, and I am only working on one room. Is there a way to have a non-enclosed room that will show the floor? I couldn't find the No Room Definition you refer to. Thanks!

The floor is missing, and I can see through to the foundation, when I do a 3D Full Camera View. I have poked around in various settings with no luck. I used to be able to do this just fine. I'm sure I just have something clicked off. Any help appreciated. Thanks! Home Designer Architectural 2021, Windows 11

Thanks. I will give that a try.

I have been happily using Home Designer Architectural 2021 and it's previous versions for hundreds of kitchen designs. When I complete a drawing I save it off as a PDF. Just the last day or so, when I save it as a PDF, which it does correctly, the program hangs up so I can't do anything in HD, even exit the program, which I have to do through Task Manager. I just get the spinning circle of progress thing. I am running Windows 10, 64 bit, 8 G RAM, HD 1/2 full. I have re-booted, tried it on several different plans, and to different PDF programs. Same thing. It saves to JPG just fine. Any ideas? I don't want to have to re-install the program unless absolutely necessary. Thanks!

I didn't find anything, so I guess you're right. It seems like such an obvious option, I was hoping there was something simple I had missed.

Thanks, Eric. I updated my signature. From reading here on the forum, I knew that was important, but hadn't figured out how to do it exactly. I have searched for hours to try to find out how to over-ride this, with no success. What got me thinking it was possible was a reply form you, in fact, to someone with a different question. You said, "Uncheck Create Automatic Blind Corner Cabinets if using the 2 cabinet method." I also just started trying Home Designer Architectural 2021 hoping it would help me with another, unrelated situation (regarding roofs). I don't see anywhere to turn it off there, either. In what versions of the software are we able to turn this feature off? Any other work-arounds you could suggest? Best, David

I have been happily using Home Designer Interiors 2019 for a year or two for kitchen layouts. I have figured out a lot of little work-arounds, but am stumped as far as how to not have it automatically create a blind corner cabinet when I move 2 cabinets close to each other in a corner. This is something I need to do, now and then. I thought I saw that this feature could be turned off. Is there a way to manually manage corner cabinets? Thanks, David using Home Designer Interiors 2019
