I am having the same problem. When I install the program it gets to this stage and stops.
I have to force quit to exit this screen. Once out of the screen it looks like the program was installed. I can find it in applications, but when I open it, I do not have any menus or toolbars.
When I close Home Designer I get error messages regarding toolbars.
1) Cannot open toolbar configuration file
2) Toolbar cannot be saved. It may be read only.
I found some suggested fixes in the online support, but most involve fixes using the menu. I did try the suggestion of renaming the toolbar folder, but that did not work.
