Right, I meant to put that information in there. I am using Home Designer Pro 2021. I've read the reference manual and it states that the roofs I want will build once I auto rebuild the roofs. In doing so, I loose all of the roof planes for the porch and garage. This is a 2 story house.

Is there a way to put a roof over a window without rebuilding the roof planes. In the attached layout, I need to put an A frame roof over the 2 windows over the garage and one A frame center of the front porch. Rebuilding the roof planes changes the entire roof system. This drawing is a rendering for an HOA approval to add a porch onto an existing house. I am working on attaching the file as it does not seem to want to load.
