Thanks AllenStoker, This is what I was trying to achieve with the Suite package. Problem you cannot call out your survey lines on this package. May have to upgrade as there are other limitations i have found also. Thank you for sharing your plan and how you got there!

Thanks Eric for your response. Hera are some interior shots of the cathedral ceiling area. The thickness of the ceiling over those beams to the underlying roof, is 12" from finished ceiling to the plywood on roof. Prettty sure that those are 2" x 10" joists and are at 16" O.C. running on the top of those lams. Hope this helps us out!

HELP!! Having lots of problems with the design of our existing tri-level home! there is a cathedral ceiling (all open and supported by 4 laminated beams) over the kitchen and second floor living areas. How do I get the software to show these beams and maintain that long sloping roof over this area? If I uncheck the ceiling over the rooms the roof shows up as wildly out of proportion and changes the underlying area as i delete the roof. Hope you can see what I am referencing in the pictures attached to my signature! Is this roof plane and beam thing beyond the HD Suites capabilities? Hello everyone and yes I am a newbie!Please be kind... I asked this earlier on the wrong forum. Thank you to Solver for pointing me to the right forum! Would like to import a pdf of my existing plot plan, which shows lot lines, the house with deck, sidewalks, etc. into a new plan. Having done this, but not sure how to adjust grid size to match the existing dimensions so that we can update and upgrade all those outside areas (not changing the house itself)? Will I have to trace all these features from the pdf and then delete the imported pdf or png file?
