Good point. I am using Home Designer Pro 2021. I have exhausted all self-help options (spent hours playing around with this). Just need some guidance on how to build the walls and/or ceiling in the stairwell to achieve the desired configuration... Thoughts? Kurt Home Designer Pro 2021

I am trying to create a stairwell that starts in a room that is on the first floor of a single-story section of my house and extends up through the roof and then into the second story section of the house. I've attached a manual cross section of what I am trying to create. I need help with the wall and roof definitions as I can't seem to get what I am looking for - see attached attempts. Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you in advance!
