Is there a way to show a new addition different from the existing structure by way of color, line weight, or layers? When I change anything in the layer the existing structure gets the same treatment.

Sorry  Am using Home Designer Pro 2017 Trial

I created a second floor but when I view it in 3D the roof is still on the 1st floor   The roof another do-over?
