I am new to Home Design Pro and having an issue bringing a roof line out to a vertical post, I am trying to draw a plan for a Garage/Out Building and am trying to have one corner of the building have an open area covered by the continuous roof line, I will use engineered trusses. The foot print is a 20 by 20 structure with the (looking at it from above) Lower right corner open 8x8 I was able to insert a vertical post but cannot get the roof to pull over and attach, I am also looking for a 2 foot overhang. I can then have a carry beam from the post to the building to hold up the truss tails. Any suggestions? THANKS
