Yeah, Houzz.com is a very good website for home decor advice and deciding about a perfect tile for homes.
Nevertheless, I would like to mention that:
Wood requires a little work to maintain and sustain its shiny finish.
Carpet, on the other hand, is a better choice as it is warm and cozy and great for sound absorption. Also, it is the most effective option for anyone who likes to change their home decor every few years because it provides ease of installation and lower price compared to other types of flooring.
