  1. Jo_Ann, thank you for trying to help me out. I see in your .jpg of dollhouse view that the stairs down to the -54" laundry room extend through the wall dividing the two elevations of level 1 but the stairs going up to level 2 from the 0" elevation of level 1 start at the dividing wall and you appear to have drawn a doorway for them to pass through. In my plan, the "up" stairs from level 1, 0" elevation (living room) start about 24" from dividing wall and extend through that wall to level 2. I have attached three .jpg pictures showing the issues I'm having. First, the wall I draw dividing the two levels does not extend up to the ceiling height of the 0" rooms of level 1. And there is also a portion of that wall that doesn't extend down to the floor of -54" level in the front of garage. Next, there is a "raw edge" showing where the stairs pass through this wall and there is no ceiling in the "kitchen side" of the stairwell from kitchen down to the laundry/garage level. Since you don't have the 2024 version of the software, I don't know if you can help me figure this out. I've attached my latest "plan" file. Maybe someone else that has that version can lend some help? Split Level stairwells.plan
  2. To Jo_Ann. Here are JPG files of Level 1 and Level 2 of my plan. In Levle 1, Living room etc is at 0" and Garage, Laundry & Bathroom are at -46.5". Bdcfooms, Level 2 is at 40". Is there a version of Home Designer Pro that you can open a plan?

  4. I'd also like the ceiling in the stairwells to follow the angle of the stairs instead of jumping to the height of the rooms in each level.
  5. I can't get my stariwells to build correctly. Level 1 has garage @ -43.5" & Living Room @ 0". Level 2 is for bedrooms over garage @+40". "Auto Stariwell" tool can't find ceiling to build stariwell for garage to living room (both level 1) & the wall wall between the two sides of the split level doesn't allow a wall to pass through it from garage level to Living room level. Also, there isn't a wall on lower portion of these stairs. The stairs to bedrooms (level 2) from Living room is blocked by the same dividing wall.
