David, The skylight did the trick for me. I could not find the option to change it into hole only. But I changed al the materials to glas and that is good enough for me to get a impression. Thanks for your help.

I'm new to HD and using HD 2016 architectural. I would like to remove a piece out of the roof. For 2 days I'm trying to make this happen but don't find a solution.
