Ok great! @scottharris do you have any recommendations for tutorials or references? I watched most of the related roof videos on the Chief website and I can't figure out how to have a 1 1/2 roof while still having a full roof over just the one room.

Hello everyone, I am a newcomer to Chief Architect after using many other programs/pen & paper for hobbyist home planning. I have been doing some test houses to get the feel for the capabilities of the program and have run in to some difficulties with the roof line needed for the Statesboro house from Southern Living. I included a photo of the exterior of the house. My main question is, am I able to do this style of roof line (combo of 1&1/2 story roof and 2nd story over some rooms) in my current version of the program (Home designer Architectural 2025) or do I need to upgrade to the pro version. I'm trying to decide if this is a knowledge issue or a program issue. Thanks in advance!
