I use Quickplumb software with my exported Chief Architect files. You can import the floor plan into QuickPlumb and place fixtures and connect pipes. The work environment is pretty basic but the data you get will help tremendously. The 3d rendering is pretty cool too. You can download a free trial at www.quickplumb.com
