I have a number of older building plan files saved in the .plX (.pl0, .pl1, pl2, etc) format. I have a MacBook Air running Sequoia, and am using Chief Architect's Home Designer Suite 2025 to create new plans. I have an old project which has come back with proposals for modifications and an addition. But I've found that the current software won't open the files and I have yet to find an application I can load onto the MacBook to open and resave the old files into a useable format. I contacted Chief's helpline and was directed to a file updater they offer but it can't be opened on my laptop (I get an error). Is anyone aware of a program, online service, or other approach I can acquire/pursue to solve this problem? From other posts in this forum (and general results from an internet search) different versions of this seem to be a longstanding problem, but I haven't seen it crop up in recent years; so I'm having no luck finding a current-day solution.
